Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CourtView mobile app, facility kiosks and systems, Reforge apps, and our related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Soar (“Soar,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian’s permission. CourtView is designed for players and operators at partner facilities. Reforge is available to users with compatible devices and does not require facility membership.

2. Your CourtView account

CourtView authenticates you using a one-time code sent to your phone. You are responsible for using your own phone number, keeping your device reasonably secure, and activity under your account. Contact support@streamsoar.com if you suspect unauthorized use. Reforge does not require an account or persistent identifier.

3. How the Service works

CourtView

At partner facilities, cameras record Single Games, the child Games in a best-of-three Match, and Target Practice sessions. Players check in through the facility kiosk with phone-based accounts. CourtView operates scoring, officiating calls, recording, replays, and authorized post-session Game and Match viewing. CourtView identifies participants through phone-based accounts, not from recorded video. See the Privacy Policy for data and retention details.

Reforge

Reforge captures photos of an object on one device, transfers them to a companion device, and uses on-device processing to produce a 3D model. With cross-device sync enabled, capture files briefly transit our hosted services; disabling sync keeps transfers on your local network.

4. Content and recording rights

CourtView facility content

CourtView camera recordings, Game and Match facts, Target Practice facts, and replays are facility-operated records that can include multiple people. Using CourtView at a participating court authorizes the facility and Soar to capture, host, process, analyze, display, and retain that content to operate the Service, support facilities and players, protect safety and service integrity, comply with law, and test, evaluate, and train CourtView and related product systems, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your account may receive viewing access, but that access does not transfer ownership of the facility recording to you.

Reforge content

You retain your rights in photos and 3D models you create through Reforge. You grant Soar a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and deliver that content only as needed to provide Reforge. That license ends when the hosted copy is removed, except for any retention required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Facility rules and safety

Partner facilities may set additional rules for court conduct, camera coverage, recording, and access. Facility rules govern on-premises behavior; these Terms govern your Soar account and Service use. CourtView officiating, replay, and Target Practice are assistance tools, not safety guarantees. Follow posted rules and operator instructions.

7. Recording notice

CourtView courts use visible facility cameras. By beginning or joining a recorded session after receiving the facility’s notice, you consent to recording and the uses described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not want to be recorded, do not enter or play on an active CourtView court and speak with the facility operator. A parent or guardian must provide any permission required for a minor to participate.

8. Fees

Soar currently does not charge an app subscription. A facility may separately charge for membership, court time, or CourtView access. Those charges are between you and the facility. We will disclose any future Soar price before charging you.

9. Account deletion and retained facility records

You can request CourtView account deletion in the app through Profile → Account → Delete Account, or use the web account-deletion instructions. The process removes authentication, profile identity, phone/name identifiers, memberships, and media-access links. If an affected facility system is offline, deletion of cached local identity finishes when that system reconnects.

Account deletion does not delete facility-owned raw recordings, replay media, or identity-free Single Game, Match, and Target Practice facts. Participant and winner slots are anonymized, and deleted accounts can no longer use those records for access. Raw video may still visually depict a former account holder. The Privacy Policy explains the retention purpose and schedule.

Reforge has no account. Delete its sessions in the app or remove its local data from your devices; temporary hosted copies follow the Privacy Policy schedule.

10. Availability and product changes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features can change, and access at a facility can end if our relationship with that facility ends. We will give reasonable notice of material changes when practical.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party hosting, authentication, networking, and app-distribution providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party systems outside our control.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soar disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any specific recording, replay, officiating call, Target Practice result, or 3D reconstruction will be captured, accurate, available, or retained.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soar and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from the Service. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid Soar for the Service during the twelve months before the claim, which for most users is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so applicable law may provide additional rights.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Soar harmless from third-party claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your Reforge content, or your violation of these Terms, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a Terms violation, facility-membership change, security risk, or legal requirement. Sections that should logically survive—including content licenses for retained facility records, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and disputes—survive termination.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Delaware law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. A dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Delaware, and the parties consent to those courts, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes in the app, by email, or through the Service. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
